Tommy Tan is a Human Resources practitioner with a wealth of practical experience in fields of leadership development and teams. With regional exposure he has many years of leadership experience in different environments and cultures including the Asia and Europe. He has also held senior executive positions in the service & manufacturing industry and within an international responsibilities. Tommy has worked on major projects to support a number of big and small organizations. These projects include the design and implementation of a performance management process for 5000 people, to enable the organization to measure performance, develop and reward staff more effectively. This process was instrumental in assisting the organization in achieving the People Developer Standards (PDS) award.
His breadth of experience in management subjects including coaching, appraising, interviewing, presentation, time management, career, team and leadership development. On the more technical side, he develops project and process management skills together with training and facilitation skills.
Tommy adopts a practical approach to learning and his coaching style of delivery facilitates the application of concepts and techniques at the workplace, and are geared towards the development of participants to achieve outstanding results. He is adept in the areas of HR Consultancy and Behavioral Learning Techniques.
Tommy has also been involved in the Singapore Armed Forces Methods of Instruction course and the Warrant Officers’ Supervisory Management and Development Programmes for the past three years.
In year 2006, Tommy was actively involves in GEMS – Go The Extra Mile Service initiative. He provides GEMS customer service training to more than 2000 service professionals in preparing for Singapore 2006 event.
